Lizzie Karzon has decided to stick with what she likes best, and that’s catering.
Her Lizzie’s Delights Catering and Event Planning is staying in business, but Karzon’s deli that she ran out of the same College Hill space has closed.
“The deli just wasn’t doing very well,” Karzon says.
“It started kind of interfering with the catering,” she says. “The catering is my first love.”
The business is at 3238 E. Douglas just east of Hillside. Karzon is building a new building near 29th and Rock Road where she’ll run the catering business, including meeting with customers.
She’ll be in her current space for a few more weeks, though only for catering. Karzon says she’s looking to sell equipment, tables and counters.
