After a long period of inactivity, it looks like there’s once again hope for the redevelopment of the former Spaghetti Works building downtown.
Through their Seneca Property LLC, Brad Saville and Nick Esterline of Landmark Commercial Real Estate have an agreement to purchase the building in the new year.
“The property has great potential for redevelopment,” Saville said in an e-mail.
The building is at 619 E. William by Intrust Bank Arena.
Saville said there’s an additional warehouse by the building and a large parking lot adjacent to it, which he said currently is underutilized.
“This tract is an important connecter between Old Town, Union Station and the Intrust Bank Arena.”
The four-story 1894 building is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been home to a number of businesses through the years.
Look for more information on Saville and Esterline’s plans later in the new year.
