Craig Simon joined Landmark Commercial Real Estate in December 2011 after spending 18 years in the Financial Service and Insurance Industry. He also spent 6 years as the Director of Membership and Business Development at the Greater Wichita Convention and Visitors Bureau (Go Wichita), marketing Wichita to visitors and local businesses. Prior to coming to Landmark Commercial Real Estate he was involved with a group of downtown developers that purchased 40% of the downtown in 2004. For the last 16 years Craig has been actively involved in the redevelopment of downtown Wichita, leasing and selling a large portion of the buildings in the City.
Craig has been in the forefront of the redevelopment effort by selling downtown properties to investors and bringing new employers back to the Central Business District. Craig has also been a member of Wichita Downtown Rotary, Wichita Independent Business Association, Go Wichita, Greater Area Wichita Sports Commission as the founder and Co-Chairperson of the Wichita Prairie Fire Marathon, Wichita Metro Chamber, and active with the Wichita Downtown Development Corporation, Visioneering Wichita, Wichita Bicycle Plan Steering Committee. He has been a member of the Wichita Area Association of Realtors and the Kansas CCIM Chapter.
Craig and his wife Kayelyn together have 6 children and 10 grandchildren. Craig is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting, fishing and climbing the Fourteeners in Colorado. In the past he was a passionate aerobic athlete competing in numerous marathons, ultra-marathons and triathlons.
